Shift: 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM Monday – Friday Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Performs routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems. Troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies simple and complex production equipment and systems to ensure reliability and maintenance. Greases, oils, cleans, adjusts, measures, and calibrates equipment for preventive maintenance purposes. Operates and cares for all hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and basic machine shop equipment associated with all maintenance systems in a skillful manner. Maintains tool and parts control in assigned areas. Orders inventory items, stocks parts, and records transactions in inventory database. Troubleshoots production processes and keeps equipment functioning within specifications. Paints, patches and other related maintenance duties. Completes simple and complex equipment improvement projects, rebuild simple and complex equipment systems, and performs major equipment overhauls. Measures and lays out equipment installations and modifications. Drafts illustrations of parts or systems for technical communication. Calibrates, adjusts, and repairs processing equipment including calendaring, converting, stamping, terminating, injection molding, complex assembly, ultrasonic welding, form/fill/seal packaging, boxing, labeling, electronic component insertion, wave soldering and associated auxiliary systems. Assists in systems installations demonstrate skill in soldering, threading, drilling, tapping, piping, mounting, wire harnessing, and hook-up of various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical devices. Use personal computers and basic office function software. Provides on-the-job orientation, equipment repair, and maintenance training to associates when applicable. Participates in analysis on component and system failures to enact appropriate repair or maintenance actions. Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Nice to Have Practiced knowledge and understanding of electricity, electronics, controls, sensors, ladder logic, basic PLC functions. Practiced knowledge and understanding of motors, mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and lubricants. Effective personal computer skills and basic office software. Effective mechanical aptitude. Effective manual dexterity and eye hand coordination. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C. F. R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Physical Job Requirements.
