State Street’s electronic foreign exchange offering is a core component of our product range, making markets directly with counterparts, on exchanges and e-trading venues around the globe. Since inception we have sustained a considerable growth trajectory, becoming a significant player in this space by expanding our market making, algorithmic and benchmark execution capabilities. We are looking to hire at the AVP level in Boston or New Jersey to help sustain our aggressive growth trajectory. We seek candidates with have 2 - 3 years of experience in e. FX or systematic high frequency trading. They will apply expertise in statistical and machine learning techniques to bespoke high frequency, asynchronous datasets to produce automated trading strategies for the e. FX business. They will be joining a successful, innovative, and supportive team, and their contributions will directly influence our strategic direction. Postgraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related discipline. Experience with statistical methods and machine learning. Experience with a data analysis & modelling language (e.g. Python, Matlab, etc.)Qualifications:3 - 5 years e. FX trading experience Experience of automated pricing and risk management for principal electronic trading books. Experience developing with a production system language (e.g. Java, C , etc.)Experience with using Git for version control. Experience of back-testing and implementing signals based on high frequency asynchronous tick data. Experience of using artificial intelligence for time series forecasting. Salary Range: $175,000 - $175,000 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
