In this role, you will:Lead programs through the entire systems engineering lifecycle IAW ARP 4754 A , DO-178, and DO-254 including execution of systems engineering technical reviews (internal and external). Define, validate, and verify system requirements, including initial integration of software and hardware using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches. Generate and allocate system functional requirements and functional architecture into efficient software and firmware architectures utilizing MBSE. Define data interfaces and component interactions utilizing model-based approaches for configuration of components and systems. Develop innovative technical solutions utilizing the full capabilities of GE Aviation Systems on development programs and proposals. Interact with customer engineering organizations to define and shape requirements for future platforms and systems. Define and maintain program plans for execution of systems processes IAW ARP 4754. Develop new tools and automation scripts in support of MBSE objectives. Support configuration control of model-based artifacts for development assurance objective satisfaction. Qualifications/ Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in EE, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or similar 2 years’ Experience in MBSE engineering development 2 years’ Experience with a modeling language (UPDM, Sys. ML, UML, etc.)2 years’ Experience with MBSE tooling (Cameo, Sparx, Rhapsody, etc.)Eligibility Requirements:Ability & Willingness to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance. Independent problem solving. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment. The base pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $167,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
