The Division of Student Life is accepting applications for The Residential Student Learning and Success Coordinator within Residential Life. In this role, you will advance the student success, skill development, and sense of belonging of residential students by developing and managing support initiatives within residence halls, apartment communities, and residential student success centers. You will foster meaningful student engagement through inclusive, accessible programming and learning opportunities that connect residential students to UB. Reporting to Assistant Director for Residential Curriculum & Student Success, you will lead the implementation of residential student success strategies and events, oversee the daily operations of success centers and learning spaces, and supervises a large student staff team of approximately 80 employees. This is a 12-month, live-off position. Your duties may include: Student staff supervision Student success and retention initiatives Event planning and facilitation Residential curriculum Space and facilities management Budget and resource management Technology and systems administration Administrative coordination and time management Assessment and reporting Residential Student Learning and Success Coordinator plays a central role in connecting residential students to campus academic services, supporting students experiencing academic challenges, and integrating strategic learning initiatives within the residential experience. The position oversees operational systems, student staffing, and assessment efforts to ensure the effectiveness of residential success strategies and to continuously enhance student engagement and belonging. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience in academic support services, supervision, advising student leaders, or developing and implementing student success, academic support, or engagement initiatives Demonstrated strengths in administrative, organizational, and communication skills are required Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Student Development, Counseling, Education, or a related field One to three years of post-bachelors’ professional experience in Residence Life, Housing, or residential education setting is preferred Experience supervising large student staff teams (15 employees), familiarity with student success platforms (e.g., EAB Navigate) Familiarity with applying NACE career competency to develop student staff Demonstrated ability in program assessment, data analysis and reporting Prodig No Executive Position No Physical Demands Driving Requirements This position drives a university owned vehicle, non-CDL Salary Range $51,261 - $54,000 Additional Salary Information Job Type Full-Time Campus North Campus Posting Alerts
