Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace by following all 5 S, Standard Operating and Safety Procedures, including wearing required PPE. Assist operators in loading and processing of materials as assigned. Actively participate in Atkore's safety program Cross train in different areas of the shop as required Ensure all processes are carried out with the required use of safety controls and PPE Perform necessary pre-operation activities and miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials Housekeeping and sanitation Performing tasks as assigned by his or her manager. What you'll bring: Ability to read a tape measure High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred) Ability to squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and work up to a 12-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment Must be willing to work overtime as needed All associates must embrace and foster an environment that supports our core values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability Any other requirements/qualifications as needed Within 3 months, you'll: Complete any required training Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role. Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
