Seeking a Finance & Business Operations Manage to join our Client's team. Position Title: Finance & Business Operations Manager. Location:Schriever Space Force Base – Colorado Springs, COOR Redstone Arsenal – Huntsville, AL - Work Schedule / Environment:Day Shift. Hybrid Schedule Required. Minimum of 3 days onsite at office or customer site. Travel up to 10%Clearance Requirement:Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required. Position Overview. Seeking a Finance & Business Operations Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and business operations supporting complex government programs. This role will partner closely with program leadership and stakeholders to provide financial oversight, operational guidance, forecasting, compliance management, and strategic decision support. The ideal candidate will have strong government contracting finance experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive operational excellence within a fast-paced federal environment. Key Responsibilities. Leadership & Team Management. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary finance and business operations team. Align team objectives with program, contract, and organizational goals. Establish performance expectations and accountability measures. Support workforce planning activities including:Recruiting. Employee development. Performance management. Succession planning. Build and maintain high-performing teams. Financial Analysis & Decision Support. Perform detailed financial variance analysis including:Budget vs. Actuals. Forecast vs. Actuals. Develop and maintain:Financial models. Scenario analyses. Sensitivity analyses. Assess financial risks, opportunities, and alternative courses of action. Partner with Program Managers and leadership teams to support:Forecast accuracy. Resource allocation. Strategic trade-off decisions. Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable recommendations. Financial Operations & Compliance. Lead financial planning activities including:Budgets. Forecasting. Long-range planning. Develop and manage:Estimates at Completion (EA - Cs)Revenue forecasts. Cost projections. Margin forecasts. Cash flow planning. Indirect rates. Ensure compliance with:Contract requirements. Corporate policies. US GAAP - Cost Accounting Standards. Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee:Financial controls. Billing. Accounts receivable. Cash management. Serve as primary interface for internal and external audits. Stakeholder & Business Operations Support. Serve as a trusted advisor to:Program Managers. Senior leadership. Customers. Corporate stakeholders. Support leadership reviews and program engagements. Identify and manage:Financial risks. Operational risks. Programmatic risks. Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies. Balance stakeholder responsiveness with financial governance and compliance. Basic Qualifications. Bachelor’s Degree in:Business. Finance. Accounting. Related discipline. OR equivalent experience. Minimum of 12 years of general full-time work experience. Advanced education may reduce required years of experience. Minimum of 6 years of direct experience in:Finance. Accounting. Business Operations. Government Contracting environments. Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Desired Qualifications. Experience supporting:DoD programs. Federal government customers. Experience with:Costpoint. JAMIS - Cognos. Hyperion. Smart. View. Strong background in:Budgeting. Forecasting. Financial reporting. Business analysis. Knowledge of:Government contract financial management. Indirect rates. EA - Cs. Financial projections. Demonstrated success influencing leadership through financial insight and data analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience improving operational processes and efficiencies.
