How you’ll make an impact in this role Develop and implement quality and patient safety systems, policies, and data collection procedures. Lead and advise on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, including training for leaders, staff, and physicians. Investigate root causes and analyze trends in serious adverse events and near misses; implement corrective action. Manage regulatory reporting of adverse events and coordinate with legal counsel on claims defense. Advance organizational knowledge of best practices in quality and safety through research and regulatory awareness. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:Quality Professional preferred. Risk Management preferred. Education:High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/ Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
