You will be the Manufacturing Support Team Member for the Palmdale Fabrication, Assembly and Tooling team. Our team is responsible for achieving production goals and objectives, and we're looking for a talented individual to help us initiate and implement new communication initiatives for production operations. What You Will Be Doing. As the Manufacturing Support Team Member, you will be responsible for working on a variety of tasks that drive communication excellence and support our production operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Support day-to-day operations for Fabrication. - Interface with all levels of management as well as the represented workforce to resolve issues and remove roadblocks. - Analyzing and improving processes to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. - Collaborate in cross-functional activities, including production planning, quality management, and process optimization. - Lead or support process improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. - Apply prior experience and best practices in manufacturing operations to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support operational excellence. - 5 plus years experience with Assembly/ Fabrication operations - Experience with STK, NFS, SFM and Apriso - Ability to teach and coach Assembly process requirements - Knowledgeable in lean principles and strategies - Ability to create and deliver presentations Experience working in a Maintenance / production or Parts fabrication fast paced environment. Experience with current computer systems: Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook. Experience working across multiple departments, such as Engineering/ quality to research/resolve production or quality issues. Experience interpreting engineering &/or planning or various department documents.
