We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for supporting Human Resources and Payroll Administrative functions. HYBRID SCHEDULE (Mon-Wed In-Office and Thurs-Fri Work From Home) Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Creates and tracks adherence to human resources training modules including employment law, reasonable suspicion, and other required trainings. Handles a variety of clerical duties to include Employee Relations folders and Termination documents online retention system. Handles internal on-boarding transfer processes for client group. Responds to Unemployment Claims. Reviews completed annual performance evaluations from client group. Sends weekly separation notices. Spends 25% of time, or two days per week processing company-wide payroll. Supports company wide recognition program. Supports talent management process. Supports the employee relations function including answering and responding to the employee hot line. Performs other duties as assigned. Travel. None Qualifications Employment is contingent on. Required Education and/or Experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent, required. One year of Human Resources and Payroll experience, required or educational equivalent. Preferred Education and/or Experience. Experience with employment-related laws and regulations, preferred. Experience with HRIS and talent management systems, preferred. Three years of related work experience, preferred. Skills and Competencies. Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Analytical. Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written. Interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution. Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information with integrity and professionalism. Multi-task along with attention to detail. Prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Work independently and as part of a team.
