Essential Responsibilities. Oversee daily department operations, including patient flow, acuity, staffing, throughput, and clinical priorities. Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and support implementation of nursing practice standards and competency development. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care across the perinatal continuum. Under the direction of the Nursing Director, support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, staffing, payroll, performance evaluations, and employee relations processes. Participate in departmental quality, safety, and professional practice initiatives. Provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to nursing and support staff, including coaching and performance management activities as appropriate. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred. License Registered Nurse required., and Certificate 1 Basic Life Support required .-5 years related work experience required and 0-1 years supervisory/management experience required. Demonstrated Leadership. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access. Competencies. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ability to manage complex situations, prioritize effectively, and support departmental and operational goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams. Strong leadership, teamwork, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and support staff. Broad clinical and operational knowledge with a commitment to quality, patient safety, and service excellence. Age-Based Competencies. Must be competent in caring for young adult, middle adult, and older adult patient populations. Physical Requirements. Light physical work, including frequent movement throughout the hospital campus and the ability to move objects up to 20 pounds. Pay Range: $150,000.00 USD - $220,000.00 USD -
