In this role, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively to safely transport patients, equipment, supplies, and lab specimens throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities include: - Safe and efficient transport of patients throughout the hospital - Assistance with patient movement (beds, stretchers, wheelchairs) - Communication of vital information with care teams - Proper handling of charts and lab specimens with confidentiality - Cleaning and disinfecting transport equipment before and after use - Use of Epic Transportation Dispatching system - Adherence to safety, infection control, and hospital protocols - Providing exceptional customer service aligned with Orlando Health values ??
