This position is responsible for financial analysis duties supporting both Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Development. Under minimal supervision, responsibilities include both project-based and daily/monthly activities supporting these functions. This position may provide guidance to other PPL employees in support of producing high quality, timely and accurate results. Provides analytical support to PPL's corporate financial functions including various scenario and sensitivityanalysis. Assists with compiling and analyzing financial information to meet management reporting requirementsincluding reconciliations and variance explanations. Participates in the development of presentations and other materials to key stakeholders including executivemanagement, the Board of Directors, rating agencies, and investment community. Contributes to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis at the request of various levels of managementunder direct supervision. Assists in developing, streamlining and maintaining flexible financial models. Develops and maintains strong relationships with personnel from PPL's business lines and other corporatesupport group functions. Analyzes and prepares monthly and quarterly reports as requested by management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline . years of financial experience. Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills Preferred Qualifications. Master's degree in Finance or Accounting. CFA/ CPA - Understanding of power/utility sector. Intermediate knowledge of Excel. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Capacity to perform analysis while understanding big picture implications and willingness to solve problems. Strong written and oral communication skills.
