As a Project Manager – Capital Expenditures, you will independently manage capital projects or defined parts of larger projects across the Americas Region. The role is mixed operational and tactical, with full ownership of planning, execution, and handover for projects typically ranging from USD 200 K to USD 5 M. Key responsibilities include:Directly managing capital projects across the Americas, including scope, schedule, budget, safety, staffing, procurement, installation, start-up, and handover. Aligning project scope and user requirements across Operations teams, global colleagues, and project stakeholders to ensure compliant and fit-for-purpose solutions. Proactively managing project schedules to ensure alignment with overall project deliverables. Coordinating, supervising, and directing internal resources, external suppliers, contractors, and consultants. Conducting onsite construction audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while fostering accountability and effective delegation. Preparing and delivering regular written and oral project status updates to steering committees and stakeholders, including facilitating monthly steering committee meetings. Ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, safety and sanitation standards, and environmental regulations by providing engineering guidance and assessing impacts of process and equipment changes. Ensuring complete and accurate project documentation (e.g., as-built drawings, equipment and maintenance documentation, regulatory documentation) is finalized at handover and stored according to local guidelines. What You’ll Need to Be Successful. Must-haves:Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a related field . years of relevant project management experience within the processing or manufacturing industry. Experience managing construction activities in manufacturing environments. Proven project management skills across schedule, scope, and budget management. Strong organizational skills with effective written and verbal communication in both the local language and English. Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%. Additional Skills & Interests We Value. Nice-to-haves:Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification. This is an on-site role based in Blair, Nebraska. The position requires:Regular on-site presence to support construction and project execution. Collaboration with local and regional stakeholders. Occasional travel (up to 15%) to support project delivery across the Americas. Compensation & Benefits. Expected salary range: $90 k to $125 k.
