Medical Assistant Lead - Associated Neurologists Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $21.80- $32.70 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week Boulder Community Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant for Associated Neurologists where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver. BLS certification required by the end of conditional period. Responsibilities Coordinates clinical staff scheduling. Completes performance evaluations with Clinic Manager and provides input in promotions, disciplinary actions, etc., for clinical staff. Assists in selecting and oversees training of clinical staff. Coordinates clinical staff training/in-service and monthly clinical meetings. Takes patient histories, vital signs and thoroughly documents in patient chart. Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization. Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals. Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments. Performs selected nursing and administrative duties. Performs venipunctures and fingerstick phlebotomy, throat cultures, urinalysis, EKG s, and other laboratory procedures as directed
