The Washroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and well-stocked washroom facilities. This role ensures a safe, hygienic, and pleasant environment for staff, students, and visitors while monitoring supplies and reporting maintenance issues as needed. Key Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, floors, and other washroom surfaces. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other hygiene items. Monitor washroom conditions regularly and report any maintenance or plumbing issues. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Provide courteous assistance to staff, students, and visitors when needed. Keep records of cleaning schedules and supplies inventory. Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste management procedures. Enter school dude for building repairs and closeout when complete Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administration. - Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in custodial or sanitation work is an asset. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift cleaning supplies regularly. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
