Lead the maintenance team – Supervise and support a skilled crew across one or more communities. Coordinate daily operations – Schedule tasks, ensure homes are ready to rent, oversee after-hours assignments, and complete service orders on time. Stay on budget – Develop and follow maintenance budgets while monitoring spending. Inspect and maintain the community – Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, conduct property inspections, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Foster strong relationships – Work with residents, team members, and vendors to create a well-maintained, welcoming environment. Ensure compliance and safety – Follow policies and company, local, state, and federal guidelines. Tackle special projects – Assist with additional responsibilities and property improvements as needed. What You Bring to the Team: Strong leadership skills – Experience in managing, training, and motivating a maintenance team. Technical expertise – Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Problem-solving abilities – Able to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations confidently. Dependability and flexibility – Available for emergency repairs when needed. Ability to perform physical tasks – Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy objects, distinguish colors, and work in various conditions.
