We are currently seeking a Full-time Night Shift Nurse Supervisor RN to join our Skilled Nursing team and make a meaningful difference in residents' daily lives. - - Full-time - - Monday - Friday - - 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM - - $43 - $53/hr. (DOE) Reporting to the Director of Nursing (DON), the Nurse Supervisor RN is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care." S/he ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident's daily life rhythm; supervises and coordinates nursing services; trains and supervises RN, LVN, and CNA team members that are accountable for resident care and satisfaction. Key duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Assesses resident's needs at the time of admission and continually evaluates residents' condition during the duration of their stay and promotes the highest functional level of independence possible (keeping in compliance with state and federal regulations, and the community's safety procedures); Supervises and directs care partners by providing support, encouragement, and direction as appropriate; Accurately and completely performs direct nursing services, such as, medication administration, treatments, personal care and other nursing procedures. Actively engages and participates in the community's QAPI program Coordinates the residents' plan of care with the interdisciplinary team (IDT), physicians, medical personnel, and resident's family/responsible party Updates the Director of Nursing on any administrative concerns, i.e. family issues. Handles all admission inquiries when either the Admissions Coordinator or Director of Nursing is not available. Ensures that the community Administrator of Health Services and Director of Nursing are notified of emergency situations that occur after hours or on weekends. Performs other related essential duties as required. What you need to be successful in this role: Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN) Current RN license Current CPR certification BS Degree, preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experience Minimum of 1-year professional managerial experience in related field Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, commitment to quality of care and willing to help foster a positive working environment
