Coordinates and administers the operational and financial activities associated with the academic program in the Graduate Nursing Department, which includes academic/student program/planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position will report to the Chairperson of the Graduate Nursing Department. Coordinates and administers operational and financial activities of the Graduate Nursing Department, including budget monitoring, account reconciliation, and advisement of management on budgetary needs or discrepancies. Oversees the development, scheduling, and implementation of new and ongoing academic programs and student services, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and university standards. Supports instructional operations through curriculum development, evaluation of instructional quality and methods, and research and recommendation of new or revised programs as needed. Establishes and maintains academic standards, degree requirements, and accreditation compliance in coordination with relevant institutional stakeholders. Assists with course scheduling, faculty assignments, space allocation, program marketing, and student recruitment activities. Manages all logistical aspects of departmental projects, including planning, initiation, implementation, and evaluation; monitors project status and generates data-driven reports to support decision-making. Serves as liaison between program participants and the broader university community, facilitating effective communication and coordination across stakeholders. Conducts program evaluation and data analysis to support quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning efforts. Monitors accounts/expenditures and reconciles statements. Advises management on budgetary needs or discrepancies. Assists in the coordination/preparation of strategic plans in support of the Graduate Nursing Department. Ensures staff compliance with university policies and procedures; serves as a university card user for departmental transactions in accordance with applicable credit card policies. Provides cross-coverage support during peak operational periods. Serves as a University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications. Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience. Desired Qualifications. Prior experience coordinating an academic program. Experience in higher education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint, including advanced features such as data analysis tools, document automation, and collaborative workflows.
