Tallgrass Energy Partners IT is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst II to assist with building, enhancing, and supporting the Enterprise Modern SharePoint architecture and document management ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, One. Drive, and Power Platform. This role focuses on delivering governed, scalable collaboration and content solutions through information architecture design, content type and metadata management, SharePoint library builds, and records retention file plan implementation (retention labels/records classification). The position also supports file share-to-SharePoint migrations using modern information architecture standards and assists with ongoing optimization and compliance. The incumbent will partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical designs and configurations, develop and maintain Power Automate/ Power Apps solutions and PowerShell automations, and execute solutions through the full lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, deploy, document, train, and support). This role serves as a liaison between IT and functional teams, producing clear technical documentation and ensuring delivered solutions align with business strategies, governance, and audit/compliance needs. Essential duties and responsibilities:Support and build the Enterprise Modern SharePoint Architecture ensuring scalable information architecture, governance-aligned site designs, security, and a consistent user experience. Govern and manage Microsoft Teams and One. Drive environments in accordance with established Information Governance policies, standards, and controls to meet compliance and business needs. Support Document Management design and operations, including creation and ongoing maintenance of Content Types, metadata/site columns, managed metadata, library standards (versioning, approvals, views), document templates, and lifecycle practices. Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint libraries to align with Tallgrass records retention requirements and file plan, including retention labels/records classification, mapping content to retention rules, and ensuring consistent application through library configuration, metadata, and automation. Plan and execute migrations from file shares to Modern SharePoint, including discovery and clean-up, mapping folder structures to libraries, content types, metadata, and retention labels, and validating content integrity, permissions, and compliance outcomes using tools such as Share. Gate. Build and maintain PowerShell scripts and automations to support SharePoint/ Microsoft 365 administration, provisioning, bulk updates, reporting, and governance enforcement; create repeatable technical documentation for operational support. In partnership with the manager/product owner and business stakeholders, deliver end-to-end Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, and related services) to automate document-centric business processes (intake, routing, review/approval, publishing, retention/records handling, audit evidence collection, notifications, and escalations), integrating with SharePoint and connected M 365 services as needed. Perform Business Analysis by engaging functional user groups to gather and interpret requirements, translate needs into technical designs, and implement solutions for bolt-on applications, integrations/interfaces, reporting, and data collection supporting internal and external audit requests. Execute the full solution lifecycle: build, test, deploy, and stabilize releases; coordinate UAT, manage timelines and deadlines, monitor performance after implementation, and drive continuous improvement. Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, solution designs, workflow/process documentation, configuration standards, script documentation, and operational procedures) and develop end-user documentation covering installation, usage, and support procedures. Provide training and support to end users and stakeholders; deliver clear communications, troubleshoot issues with professionalism and tact, and provide technical assistance across supported platforms. Support application upgrade activities and work with internal teams and software vendors to resolve issues as needed; demonstrate proficiency with tools such as Layer 2 and Share. Gate. Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and consistently high performance; work non-traditional hours as needed for deployments, migrations, and critical support; maintain a strong commitment to personal safety and protection of company assets. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Education:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of five (5) years direct work experience in IT or a related discipline may be considered as a substitute for a degree. Experience/ Specific Knowledge:Minimum of two (2) years overall IT experience, with at least two (2) years in Microsoft 365 / SharePoint solution architecture, administration, support, implementation, and upgrades. Demonstrated experience building and supporting Modern SharePoint Architecture, including information architecture, site design, permissions/security models, and governance-aligned configuration standards. Hands-on experience delivering SharePoint Document Management solutions, including Content Types, site columns/metadata, library configuration (versioning, approvals, views), and document lifecycle practices. Experience maintaining a records retention file plan in SharePoint libraries through configuration, metadata, and automation. Minimum of two (2) years development experience using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 tools) to deliver workflow automation, forms/apps, and integrated solutions supporting business processes. Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for SharePoint/ Microsoft 365 administration, bulk operations, reporting, troubleshooting, and repeatable operational tasks. Experience in the full solution delivery lifecycle (requirements gathering/business analysis, design, build, testing/ UAT, deployment, training, and ongoing support), including producing clear technical documentation and end-user materials. Experience in large-scale migration efforts (file shares to SharePoint), including discovery, planning, metadata mapping, migration execution (e.g., Share. Gate), validation, and decommissioning practices. Experience governing and supporting Microsoft Teams and One. Drive environments to align with business policies, compliance requirements, and organizational goals. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Access as applicable). Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
