The Coordinator, Development and Events role is responsible for advancing philanthropic initiatives through events and cultivating community relationships that support the hospital’s mission and long-term sustainability. The Coordinator, Development and Events is an onsite position. Essential Functions. Lead and oversee community and foundation engagement programs, operations and development of all fundraising events, including recruitment, stewardship, and program growth. Cultivate and steward relationships with WCH or Foundation volunteer members, business partners, and community stakeholders to drive philanthropic support and engagement. Oversee and execute fundraising events, in collaboration with the Vice President of Development and Marketing. Ensure effective operational management of Foundation events, donor databases, maintaining accuracy and compliance. Develop Foundation, donor and event communications, donor stewardship materials, newsletters, and collateral to ensure alignment with hospital priorities and donor intent. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Requirements. Education: Bachelor’s degree. License: None. Experience:Three (3) years’ experience in fundraising and/or community board leadership. Two (2) years’ experience in event management. Certification: None. Preferred. Education: None License: None. Experience: One (1) year Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising software. Certification: None.
