Under the direct supervision of a licensed care practitioner, provides and documents clinical care and associated tasks as assigned. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care is provided in a quality environment to patients and families. Utilizes appropriate age and developmental approach in application of care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma, GED or Foreign equivalent. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association. Those staff assisting with the provision of direct Audiology and/or Speech Pathology services must be registered with the State of California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board within three months of hire date. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in OT/ PT/ Speech/ Audiology 1 year of experience. Pediatric experience in inpatient, outpatient or long-term care setting. Bi-lingual English/ Spanish. Advanced knowledge of medical terminology; experience with data entry and clinical computer systems.
