Working Location: Various Locations The District covers a large portion of San Diego County. Candidates considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to completion of a recognized air condition mechanic training program. Two years of directly related experience may be substituted for the training requirement. NOTE: Your related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of your application. Licenses and Other Requirements: Possession of a valid California driver's license and availability of private transportation (mileage expense allowance provided). Possession of a valid Classified II Environmental Protection Agency certificate for handling chlorofluorocarbons (C. F. C.). Possession of hand tools common to the trade.
