Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our Hugo, MN team. Meyer Distributing & Logistics are driven to perform – come join our team today! EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. TRAINING: A minimum of one month of on-the-job training is required. EXPERIENCE: Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift preferred. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Good computer skills and knowledge of WMS software. Positive attitude and have ability to be self-motivated. Ability to give special attention to detail. Ability to identify letters and numbers. Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities. Planning/organizing and follow up skills. Quality control- the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. Adaptability- the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Dependability- the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. Starting Pay:$20.00 per hour. Schedule:Monday- Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Inventory Control Duties Include:Locating inventory that is on the warehouse site, but not located in the correct location. Handle all details associated with inventory transfers. Perform cycle counts. Handle details associated with stock adjustments and returns. Communicate with Meyer warehouse lead and logistics to determine the most efficient way to deliver/return items to the vendor. Receive and approve vendor credit invoices. Research discrepancies. Handle research of receiving and invoice issues Salary Description 20.00
