We are seeking a hands-on UI/ UX Developer for a 12-month onsite engagement at a client of ours in San Antonio. In this high-visibility role, you will be the primary architect and programmer driving next-generation digital workplace initiatives, ensuring our internal enterprise tools are as modern and intuitive as our public-facing media. As the lead technical resource, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and functional execution, [ "- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/ Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/ UX designs standards- Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects- Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance- Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates- Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements- Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed- Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups- Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews- Hands on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, Jquery etc)- Provide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates- Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects- Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W 3 standards for HTML,Javascript and CSS- Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements in a SDLC process- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of frontend designs into the JS/ Java codebase- Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX- Develop well-structured and maintainable code that follows the best practices and industry standards Work with team members to develop UI prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data-driven approach- Design and develop UI and UX interfaces to meet standards and requirements- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them" ][ "Minimum Qualifications\r\n-\t. High School or GED\r\n-\t Deep experience in front-end web application development with hands on programming\r\n-\t. Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs\r\n-\t. Knowledge of using technology Storyboarding tools like Adobe creative suite, Sketch and Envision\r\n-\t. History of working with cross functional teams using Agile/ Scrum methodologies\r\n-\t. Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs\r\n-\t. Experience with communicating and working with business, technology users to create holistic solutions\r\n-\tskills, knowledge, and experience using end to end Human centered design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability\r\n. Preferred Qualifications\r\n-\t. UI/ UX design or web developer certifications & training\r\n-\t. Previous experience of the Electric and Gas Utility Industry\r\n-\t. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or applicable business degree from an accredited university OR Relevant business technical experience\r\n-\t. Exposure to front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, Jquery etc)\r\n-\t. Familiarity with screen reader tools is a plus (Voice. Over, JAWS, NVDA)\r\n-\t - Experience working within agile ceremonies and methodologies\r\n-\t. Remain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary." ]
