Conduct investigations into claims of potential harassment, discrimination, workplace misconduct and/or potential violations of company policies Communicate recommendation and guidance on appropriate corrective actions based on investigation results Provide investigations, findings and summaries to senior leadership Conduct various data analysis on complaints and related metrics, monitoring for patterns and trends to identify areas of concern Draft, proof and finalize documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy/legal requirements Partner with internal stakeholders including leadership, legal, and others when appropriate Utilize comprehensive and in-depth employee relations expertise to assess credibility and provide guidance and recommendations for the organization Maintain accurate and confidential records of investigations, findings, and resolutions. Lead continuous improvement of processes and protocols to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in handling employee relations issues. Other duties as assigned What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field 7 years of professional experience handling internal workplace investigations In depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws including but not limited to; FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, Title VII, etc. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills Strong project management, analytical, fact-finding and evidence gathering skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Ability to exercise a sense of urgency handling multiple cases/priorities Ability to travel as required Additional qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace software PHR/ SPHR or SHRM CP or SCP certification Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment with diverse, geographically dispersed teams Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods. Occasionally: Travel domestically up to 20% for team meetings, training, and investigations.
