The Federal Project Manager executes critical projects within QTS Federal. These projects will primarily be in two categories: implementation and process development. In implementation projects, the Federal Project Manager will guide customers, partners, and QTS Federal stakeholders through a complex implementation process while serving as the primary point of contact for customer project leadership. This is a critical function that involves orchestrating a variety of stakeholders and coordinating all aspects of a successful data center project delivery. In process development projects, the Federal Project Manager will support QTS Federal Leadership in refining delivery models for QTS Federal products and services. The Federal Project Manager reports to the Director - Federal Project Delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned. Manage and maintain excellent customer relationships. Clearly documenting goals, managing expectations, and managing project outcomes to ensure customer satisfaction and success. Coordinate data center deployment projects from kickoff to completion. Create and maintain project plans: outlining tasks, milestone dates and allocation of resources. Understand the operating models of key QTS and QTS Federal stakeholder organizations to promote effective communication. These groups include, but are not limited to: Sales, Facility Operations, Property Development, Implementation, Technology Operations, and Security. Provide timely and accurate status updates to all customer, partner and QTS Federal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Own and manage customer project escalations through to resolution, and ensure expectations are clearly set with customer and QTS teams. Assist in the development and maintenance of project methodology to improve QTS Federal services and offerings. Support QTS Federal Leadership in process improvement and process development projects as the company experiences rapid growth. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 5 years technical project management or service delivery management experience. Experience presenting technical information to executives. Experience working on projects within construction, development, or infrastructure environments, or demonstrated familiarity with construction processes and stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. United States Citizenship. Ability to obtain a TS security clearance. US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 10 years technical project management or service delivery management experience. PMP certification or equivalent. Active TS security clearance with eligibility for additional accesses as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective written and oral communication at both the working level and executive level. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. This role can be located in Denver, CO, or Manassas, VA - In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado: - The estimated pay range for this role, if based in Colorado, is $121,789 - $164,821. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in the company’s commission and equity plan.
