You will play a key role in supporting both residents and staff by managing incoming calls and ensuring resident and visitor needs are addressed promptly, professionally, and with exceptional customer service. In this role, you will help support person-centered, individualized care by facilitating the accurate and timely exchange of information between departments. You will oversee the completeness, maintenance, confidentiality, and security of medical records while ensuring compliance with company policies as well as State and Federal regulations. Additionally, you will review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness from nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team (IDT). You may also assist with implementing corrective actions, supporting compliance initiatives, and educating clinical staff on documentation standards and best practices. Wages: $20.00 - $26.00 / hr DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm About You: Associates degree or comparable training/experience in medical records, healthcare, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of medical records laws and regulations, as well as long-term care facility operations. Proficiency in English reading and writing with a working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong computer skills, particularly with electronic medical records systems (specifically PointClick. Care and/or Matrix. Care). Knowledge of diagnostic coding and healthcare documentation standards. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate professionally and work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
