The Scheduling Coordinator at the Office of Career Services (OCS) plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless recruitment process for students and external employers. This position is designed to support and manage the scheduling and coordination of on-campus recruitment activities for external employer partners. Key Responsibilities: Interview Scheduling: Coordinate and/or assist with the delivery of comprehensive on-campus recruiting programs and services. Manage the scheduling of over 2000 interviews and construct 300 interview schedules per semester with meticulous accuracy. Employer Coordination: Maintain smooth recruitment experiences for external employers by assisting with job postings, on-campus recruitment, and other branding activities. Event Management: Coordinate and assist with the delivery of on-campus recruiting programs, including information sessions, workshops, and webinars. Project Management: Oversee planning and logistics for 100 activities, ensuring attention to detail and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Software Proficiency: Utilize critical software tools such as Handshake and Excel to manage records, track schedules, generate reports, and assist students and employers with technical issues. Customer Service: Act as the first-level welcome reception for external employers, ensuring a positive experience by assisting with setup needs and maintaining constant communication. Administrative Support: Handle accounts payable, purchase orders, career fair payments, and maintain accurate employer documents and records. Process requisitions for office supplies, meals, and marketing materials. Assist with credit card and check payments from employers for all career fairs. Enter payment information into Handshake. - - - Attention - - - Some evening may be required for various events - - - Primary Function of Organizational Unit The mission of the Office of Career Services (OCS) is to provide centralized, comprehensive, and progressive interdisciplinary programs, services, and resources to prepare the A&T undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni for the achievement of personal, professional, and career development that meet the needs of a global society. The Office of Career Services (OCS) provides innovative programming, services, and resources to assist the University’s 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni in launching their careers. Career Services is customer-focused and centralizes the functions of career development/counseling, full-time employment, on-campus student employment, summer internships, cooperative education, and part-time employment. Work Hours 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm (some evening work may be required for various events) Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
