Perform the tracking, reporting and analysis of financial information, including financial reporting, budget and forecast creation, and variance analysis. Financial Analyst I - Essential Responsibilities. Assist with collecting and analyzing financial data in order to perform some or all of the following processes: budget development, variance reporting for supported areas, preparing internal and external reports, and identifying data issues. Analyze financial data to identify adverse trends and recommend solutions to mitigate financial impact. Applies knowledge of financial rules and concepts and company policies and procedures to resolve commonly occurring issues. Assist with financial analysis and support to the team for the annual budget process, as well as support for current year and five-year forecasting. Provide timely and accurate assistance to clients within supported business area, including but not limited to interpretation of account codes or financial reports, providing project status reports, and work order resolution. Financial Analyst II Essential Responsibilities. Collect and analyze financial data in order to perform some or all of the following processes: budget development, variance reporting for supported areas, and preparing internal and external reporting packages. Analyze financial data to identify adverse trends and recommend solutions to mitigate financial impact. Assist with financial analysis and support the budget managers for the annual budget process, as well as modeling, analysis and financial support for current year and five-year forecasting. Document key processes of areas assigned to ensure consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist with building rate case information as required to support submission. Assist in pulling together data for regulatory support for any other requests or associated schedules. Assist with special projects as assigned. Financial Analyst I - (Min. $58,700 - Max $79,767)Minimum Requirements. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related business degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Completion of finance or accounting internship preferred. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications required. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem solving, customer service, and relationship building desired. Financial Analyst II - (Min $64,100 - Max $84,250)Minimum Requirements. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business degree or a combination of equivalent education and experienceCPA, CMA or MBA preferred. Minimum 2 years experience in general financial accounting or analysis. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications required. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem solving, customer service, and relationship building desired. Preferred Requirements. Demonstrated experience with Financial Analytical Tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
