Accounting Analyst I – Revenue Accounting & Analysis

Perform assigned month-end activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, SEC reporting, and variance analysis. Prepare, maintain, and enhance schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders. Support internal and external audit requests by providing accurate documentation and clear explanations. Collaborate as a team member on accounting and finance-related projects. Process and analyze large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and automation. Perform other duties as assigned. Education / Years of Experience. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field with a strong accounting focus and a minimum of one (1) year of accounting experience in the energy industry or successful completion of an accounting internship. Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential or actively pursuing CPA certification. Alternative Consideration: Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field with a strong accounting focus may be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Demonstrates strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as a top priority. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Communicates effectively and collaborates across teams and departments.
