Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify, develop, and implement process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Utilize Effective Lean Process Design Techniques: Optimize overall manufacturing system performance by providing innovative solutions that integrate within the value stream. Assess Current & Future Capacity Requirements: Utilize marketing forecasts, value stream mapping, and capacity planning methodologies to ensure adequate capacity. Identify Areas of Opportunity: Analyze data and conduct thorough evaluations to pinpoint areas where operational efficiencies can be gained. Identify Causes of Process Variation: Utilize the scientific method to identify causes of process variation and recommend corrective actions. Implement Effective Material Flow Concepts: Develop and implement pull systems and parts presentation strategies to improve manufacturing productivity. Rapidly Identify Current State: Quickly assess and document the current state of manufacturing processes to establish a baseline for improvements. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and drive decision-making processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of operational excellence initiatives. Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on best practices, Lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals. Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address operational challenges and drive sustainable improvements. Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Qualifications:4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering Technology 5-10 years of Industrial Engineering experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and drive change within an organization. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
