The Sourcing Specialist manages the day-to-day business of Manufacturing from initial concept to FC delivery. Responsibility is to work side by side with the Sourcing Manager to focus and align the Global Sourcing multiple strategies to meet customer demands by offering the highest quality product at the best value possible. Where You'll Work. This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Studio Park in West Chester, PA several days per week. Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, or DE. Relocation assistance or is not available for this role. What You'll DoDevelopment of samples in all apparel categories, negotiation of pricing, delivery and terms for businesses as assigned in the primary function. Through daily e-mail communication with our offices, agents, and direct suppliers, build strong relationships with our sourcing partners to ensure proper implementation of QVC Group's standards and procedures, adherence to calendar milestones and proactive identification of issues that could impact the business. Ownership of the calendar at a brand level and managing the day-to-day operations of the sourcing functions. Partner with design, technical design and buying team members to ensure seamless development processes are in place and maintained. Demonstrate the ability to confidently challenge cost sheets and negotiate. Taking the lead in driving progress and negotiating costs. Forward thinking of potential quality issues and offering resolutions. Ownership of adhering to the current Sourcing Strategy and Goals. Partner with QA and Supply Chain to ensure processes are in place to ensure uninterrupted flow of merchandise. What You'll Bring. Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Product Design preferred) Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, production and/or sourcing (at least 3 years specific in apparel categories).
