Design original, elegant, and impactful digital experiences for guests across Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide. Own end-to-end UX design on assigned initiatives, from problem definition and concept development through execution and launch. Partner with product management, engineering, consumer insights, analytics and fellow designers to translate complex requirements into intuitive experiences. Apply rigorous, user-centered design thinking to create cohesive experiences at the intersection of physical and digital worlds. Ensure high levels of craft and quality by guiding designs through implementation and validating alignment with design intent. Interpret and elevate Disney’s iconic brands, infusing storytelling and emotion to meet high guest expectations. Contribute to the evolution of design patterns, systems, and standards to improve consistency and quality across products. Advocate for guest needs by integrating research, insights, and feedback into current and future solutions. Communicate design concepts and recommendations clearly to cross-functional and executive stakeholders through strong storytelling and visuals. Produce high-quality design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, design specifications, and redlines. Design experiences across web, mobile web, and native applications (iOS and Android)Work independently while mentoring and supporting junior designers, maintaining strong ownership and collaboration. Qualifications 5 years of industry experience operating as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer, possessing solid capabilities across a range of design disciplines. Experience with premium brands including e-commerce. A track record for working with cross-functional product development teams to ship customer-facing digital products. Defining and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform and inspire design. Designing for emerging product experiences including conversational user interfaces, AR/ VR and interactive 3 D environments a plus. Experience creating products from a user-first design approach. Ability to anticipate and design for user needs by incorporating user research, data collection and analytics. Capability to build interactive prototypes. Excellent presentation and communication skills - Ecommerce experience with motion design and animation skills a plus. Education 2-year college degree or equivalent 4-year college degree preferred. Portfolio of your most impactful work – portfolio presentation is expected#DISNEYTECH - The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $129,300 to $173,300 per year and in Orlando, FL is $123,100 to $165,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
