The Healthy Careers Navigator facilitates participants’ transition from the Tennessee Board of Regents Direct Services Professional (DSP) training program into certified employment. This role manages the full participant lifecycle, including recruitment, enrollment, mentoring, and job placement, effectively bridging training with workforce opportunities. Working closely with the Center for Community Outreach Executive Director, the Healthy Careers Navigator supports program implementation and overall success while building connections with employers and community partners. Some travel is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to support documentation, reporting, and communication. Knowledge of local and regional labor markets, including employer needs and workforce trends. Knowledge of Northeast American Job Centers and available workforce development resources and services. Ability to effectively engage and support individuals with diverse skills, backgrounds, and levels of experience. Ability to apply case management principles, including participant assessment, goal setting, and progress tracking. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare employers and community partners.
