1. Oversee the PNP Nurse Practitioner concentration. Additional duties as assigned to meet program needs. 2. Oversee and support students with preceptor placements, clinical site communication as needed, and supporting paperwork. Academic advising and mentoring as needed. 3. Oversee, credential, and manage faculty in the PNP concentration to support excellent curriculum delivery to ensure that educational objectives of the program are attained and aligned for preparation for certification exams. 4. Develop and guide strategic plans for program growth and goals in alignment with the Catherine Mc. Cauley School of Nursing, Walker College of Health Professions, and Maryville University’s mission, vision, and values. 5. Maintain relationships with internal and external constituencies, including educational partners, students, serve on committees, and represent the university at external functions as required. Including attending meetings as required. 6. Remain committed to fostering a culturally diverse and inclusive atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students. Teaching as required per contract Qualifications Required Knowledge. Current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner clinical practice knowledge. Preferred knowledge of preceptorships for Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Students. Knowledge of online learning management system(s). Knowledge of how to support students and faculty in achieving academic goals and outcomes. Required Skills/ Abilities. Prior online teaching experience. Preferred prior online teaching experience as an NP/ PNP. Highly detail-oriented and analytical. Mentally nimble to balance multiple competing priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines. Experience and comfortable with technology, databases, MS Office, and the ability to learn other software systems. Sales Force experience is a plus. Prior leadership and/or mentoring experience preferred. Ability to remain calm, provide leadership, and use emotional intelligence in difficult conversations. Formal Education MSN, nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric Primary Care), with a minimum of five years of recent clinical experience as an NP/ PNP, and unencumbered RN licensure in the United States. Preferred Doctorate in Nursing or related field. Preferred NP clinical experience patient populations.
