Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse. - Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care. - Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. - Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. - Updates and retrieves patient information. - Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. - Acts as part of an assigned care team. - Other duties as assigned. Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Education Preferred: None. Experience Required: None. Experience Preferred: One year experience in an acute care hospital setting as a Nursing Assistant. Licensure/ Certification Required: None. Licensure/ Certification Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Other Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
