Dispatches Truck Drivers (CDL and Non-CDL), for conveyance of materials in a safe manner for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities, ensuring emails and phone calls are handled in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Records and maintains files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information. Coordinates and effectively communicates with various GCNA divisions. Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards. Orders supplies and equipment, issuing them to Team Members. Maintains the day-to-day operations of the transportation department including meeting Team Member and customer needs. Reads and responds to emails from stores, providing excellent customer service. Dispatches Drivers in a safe and efficient manner. Determines types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications. Communicates power equipment defects to the fleet Services Team. Provides feedback to the Transportation Leaders on day-to-day operations in an effort to maintain and improve business and resolve problems. Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. One year of customer service experience or dispatch experience required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Ability to speak and read English proficiently. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
