Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Unarmed Security officers in the Houston, TX area. These positions are for Full Time, Part Time, and Flex and all shifts, all days - including weekends. The pay range for these positions are $16.00/hr - $17.00 - paid weekly. Requirements: Must have a Texas Level II Security License in hand . year of unarmed security experience. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical and communication skills. Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision. Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision. Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions. Flex Officer Explanation The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel. For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
