Performs routine work in opening and securing rental spaces of Green Ridge Recreation Center. Provides facility set-up and materials in accordance with rental needs. Provides exceptional customer service to rental group. Performs other duties as assigned. - Hours Required for this position: 20 hours per week - Shift Hours and/or Days worked: Monday-Sunday ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Performs appropriate room set-up for each rental. - Ensures that all Green Ridge Rental Agreements are being followed. - Ensures the safety of rental and general users of Green Ridge Recreation Center. - Facilitates activities for the rental, if necessary. - Provides exceptional customer service for the rental group. - Ensures that rental starts and leaves are according to schedule. REQUIREMENTS/ PREFERENCES Education Preferred: Graduation from high school or equivalent Experience Required: One or more years of customer service experience required (could be in a variety of settings) Preferred: Three or more years of customer service experience. Certifications/ Licenses Required: Valid Virginia driver’s license with good driving record. CPR, First Aid, and AED. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong ability to work with public in person and by phone. - Ability to advise on and interpret policies in researching and resolving customer inquiries, requests and complaints. - Ability to follow oral and written direction and work procedures. - Ability to take initiative as well as follow-thru. - Skill using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software.
