Working Location: Nursing and Wellness Department - 4100 Normal Street, San Diego, CA 92103 (Area E) The Program Development Specialist within the Nursing and Wellness Department will oversee grant writing, program evaluation, and health promotion communications for the District Wellness Initiative and assigned programs. Some of the other areas of responsibility will include training and collaborating with school site and department staff, and monitoring/evaluating projects including but not limited to: implementation of District Wellness Policy and the Healthy Schools Program, training and supporting the work of Wellness Center Coordinators, and on site school Wellness initiatives.
