Associate Landscape Designer Pay Rate: $25/hour Position Overview This role will assist clients throughout the residential and commercial design process while partnering with senior designers to create functional and visually appealing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, customer-focused, and passionate about plants, landscape aesthetics, and outdoor living solutions. Key Responsibilities Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins Assist clients throughout the landscape design and project planning process Support senior designers with project coordination and client communication Gather and organize project information for design development Create smaller-scale landscape and garden designs Assist with preparing project estimates and proposals Conduct site visits to assess project needs and opportunities Coordinate with installers and subcontractors to support project completion Present design concepts and recommendations to clients Provide plant knowledge and landscape solution recommendations to customers Support sales efforts by helping convert design opportunities into completed projects Troubleshoot landscape and plant-related concerns Help identify and resolve project challenges prior to installation Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in landscape design, horticulture, customer service, or a related field preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency with basic computer and design-related programs Knowledge of plant selection and landscape functionality preferred Strong customer service and sales-oriented mindset Creative problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work outdoors and visit project sites as needed Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
