We have an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2026 - Space Hardware Project Engineer Intern to join the team! This is a temporary role not to exceed 13 weeks. The Project Engineer intern will: Provide assistance in the design and test support in various aspects of development in support of the Johnson Space Center Engineering Directorate branch office in the power and propulsion division Support project teams with development of test procedures and verification and validation processe. Perform testing and verification of flight hardware Maintain and ensure baseline test configurations and document any configuration changes Assist in generating essential paperwork and documents for tasks assigned, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP), as needed Work in a collaborative, team environment and report to project managers for technical support, task assignment, and processes Perform job functions based on pre-established guidelines or instructions Perform other duties as required? Requisition Qualifications: ? Currently enrolled in an accredited university. Completed at least 45 credit hours. Minimum of 2.8 GPA. Requisition Preferences:Experience with the design, assembly, verification, testing, and operation of space hardware Experience with NASA JSC Flight Hardware Life Cycle, Certification, and Engineering processes Experience with procedure development Co-op or Intern experience at JSC or other NASA agency Familiarity with the Engineering Life Cycle process Prior experience working and coordinating requirements with third party/outside Vendors Familiarity with NASA Quality operational procedures and requirements?
