QA Analyst – ServiceNow Testing Contract: 6 months Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid) - - MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN AREA FOR CONSIDERATION - - We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to support manual testing efforts within enterprise ServiceNow environments. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality software delivery by executing test cases, validating functionality, and supporting Agile development teams in a structured QA environment. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with ServiceNow testing, and familiarity with enterprise SDLC and QA processes. Qualifications 4 years of manual testing experience in ServiceNow Strong experience in test case creation and execution within a formal QA framework Solid understanding of Agile/ Scrum SDLC processes Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills Working knowledge of API and integration testing Proficiency using Jira for defect tracking and Agile work management Experience supporting Texas state agency systems preferred Familiarity with enterprise QA standards and SDLC processes Preferred Qualifications Experience testing ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module Experience testing additional ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, HRSD) Experience with general government compliance, audits, or release readiness processes UAT coordination experience in government or regulated environments Duties Perform manual testing of ServiceNow applications to validate functionality and business requirements Create, document, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts Identify, document, and track defects using Jira Perform API and integration testing where applicable Participate in Agile/ Scrum ceremonies and support sprint testing activities Validate system changes against acceptance criteria and business requirements Support UAT coordination and end-user testing activities Ensure adherence to enterprise QA standards, SDLC processes, and release guidelines Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
