Sales Director – Energy Segment

Own and execute the global commercial strategy for the energy segment, aligned with Material Protection and corporate growth objectives, delivering revenue, volume, margin, and contribution targets. Lead, coach, and develop a geographically diverse sales and account management team, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture grounded in collaboration, grit, and accountability. Serve as executive sponsor for strategic Energy customers, leading senior-level engagements, joint business planning, and long-term partnership discussions across operators, OEMs, EPCs, and industrial end users. Drive growth across strategic accounts, priority sub-segments, new applications, and emerging market needs, including portfolio optimization, pricing, contract strategies, and risk mitigation. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Service, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory teams to deliver differentiated, value-based solutions and ensure reliable execution. Provide leadership oversight for technical and commercial discussions, including product trials, field validations, and issue resolution, ensuring consistent communication of performance, EHS, and regulatory positioning. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments, representing Arxada at key Energy industry forums and customer events. Qualifications & Experience:Technical degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field preferred, with familiarity in regulatory, sustainability, and EHS requirements impacting energy markets. Min. 10 years of progressive commercial experience in energy markets or adjacent specialty chemical or industrial sectors. Demonstrated leadership experience managing sales teams and strategic global accounts. Strong understanding of energy value chains and operational environments, with a proven ability to drive profitable growth and manage complex negotiations. Excellent communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and decisive leadership style. CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, or equivalent) and willingness to travel globally (approximately 30–50%)The expected salary range for this role is 223,200 USD to 272,800 USD, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
