Pay Range$38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work:9 B Neuro Progressive Care Unit is a 19-bed unit specializing in neurological care, featuring 12 progressive care beds and 7 acute care beds. Our primary patient population includes individuals undergoing complex head and neck surgical procedures such as: - Craniotomies for tumor resection - Cranioplasty - Deep brain stimulator placement for Parkinson’s disease - Carotid endarterectomy - Post-surgical stroke management - Transsphenoidal tumor resections - Seizure management - Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt placement - Chiari malformation treatment - Myasthenia gravis care. Nurses on 9 B develop advanced critical thinking skills and thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. They are integral members of the interdisciplinary care team, actively contributing to patient outcomes and continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. What You’ll Do: - As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. - Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
