Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Join our collaborative care team. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, you will provide professional, skilled, age-specific nursing care for patients alongside physicians and other medical disciplines. Key Responsibilities Direct Care: Perform patient-related tasks and daily ADLs under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse. Clinical Tasks: Check vital signs and assist with clinical procedures as requested. Communication: Observe patient conditions and report changes immediately to the supervising Nurse or Physician. Documentation: Record all patient interactions accurately in the medical record. Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88 The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee s base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee s base rate of pay. Qualifications Education: Prefer a high school diploma or GED. Experience: Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience. Specialized Training: Must successfully complete approved Valleywise Health computer classes. Certification/ Licensure: Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bilingual is preferred. Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people. Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
