On. Trac is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician - Conveyor Systems in Phoenix! On. Trac is seeking a hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician to support and lead maintenance activities in a fast-paced parcel sortation environment. This role is responsible for keeping conveyor and material handling systems operating safely and reliably, leading shift-level maintenance response, assigning and prioritizing work, mentoring technicians, and driving root-cause corrective actions to reduce downtime. Trac BKSC- 7400 W Buckeye Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85043 Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $40.39 to $60.58 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job-related factors. Schedule: Monday through Friday- 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm and on call as needed. (Hours subject to change depending on business needs) Employment Logistics: The Lead Maintenance Technician supports the safe and reliable operation of equipment and facilities by performing advanced preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing conveyors and sortation equipment. This role also serves as the shift-level technical lead, helping coordinate maintenance response, mentor technicians, and drive corrective actions that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. The Must-Haves: - High school diploma or GED, technical degree or trade school certificate preferred. - 5 years of related experience in industrial maintenance, automated conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. - Experience leading or supporting maintenance work in a 24/7 operation. - Welding and fabrication experience required. - Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. - Working knowledge of 480 V 3-phase power, motor controls, VF - Ds, PLCs, sensors, photo eyes, and HM - Is. - Knowledge of LOTO, OSHA requirements, PM programs, and safe electrical work practices. - Ability to lift 60 pounds routinely. - Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond after hours when required to support operations. - Current driver's license and clean driving record.
