As a Thoracic Surgery PA, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of residents and surgeons covering this busy surgical service. There are opportunities to grow, teach, and have significant autonomy. The position primarily consists of post-operative management of patients on the step down unit and floor. In this role, PAs serve as the front line providers rounding with attending surgeons, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures. This position consists of (4)10-hour shifts/week, some weekend day shifts, no call or holiday coverage.
