Shift. Monday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day)Shift: Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM - The Quality Control Clerk is responsible for counting physical inventories of finished goods in accordance with Cycle Counting Procedures and Policies. The goal is to count all inventory locations within a specified timeframe and compare physical counts to WMS records. Additionally, the clerk performs random QA checks on a pre-determined number of outbound shipments daily to ensure quality standards are met. Primary Responsibilities. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Use radio frequency (RF) equipment functions as needed. Physically count the number of LPNs in a location and compare to WMS (Scale). Identify product codes and verify against WMS records. Count the number of cases on a skid and compare with WMS. Document findings on a Cycle Count Verification sheet and forward to Inventory Clerk daily. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards. Randomly select outbound shipments for QA inspection. Verify completeness, accuracy, visual quality, stretch-wrap, pallet condition, and ASN label requirements. Essential Requirements / Experience. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year warehouse experience involving standard practices. Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology. Strong skills in mathematics, personal computers, and related applications. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Experience operating material handling equipment; electric pallet jack preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stretch, and reach. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly. Familiarity with RF equipment preferred. Strong sense of urgency and flexibility in meeting deadlines. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service driven.
