Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities and communication with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Thur 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM - Fri 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM - Sun 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access control, and operational issues. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and assist with visitor, vehicle, and contractor processing according to site procedures. Support emergency and weather-related responses by communicating relevant information, directing people according to post instructions, and coordinating with site personnel and/or first responders when appropriate. Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed role. Guard card is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
